This was a special moment for me. The road up to Tunnel View in Yosemite was closed from the valley floor due to avalanche danger, as it had just snowed a substantial amount. I decided to walk up, knowing that the storm would be clearing about an hour before sunset time. Sure enough, it broke up and revealed this spectacular winter scene. 

The best part is I was all alone. Anybody who has been to Yosemite knows this spot can be flocked with over 100 people at a time, so to be all alone for this moment was a real treat.
