Following significant snowfall and a late melt, the ground was healthy & primed for a huge wildflower  bloom around Mammoth Lakes in 2023. Several huge fields of white lupine appeared, which bloom very infrequetly, and only after the biggest of winters. 

I wanted to find a composition with these flowers as far east as possible, so I could have te best visibility of Mount Morrison. In the process, I found an entire hillside covered with white lupine, perfectly paired with a lone pine tree.
