Encinitas is a place dear to me. It's not only where some of my best memories are, and where I partially grew up, but it's where I learned to surf myself, and really started the crafting of my love for the outdoors. 

I captured this image from my drone on a crisp winter morning. I didn't particularly expect such a spectacular sky. I went out with the intent of capturing the first light of the day hitting the spray of the waves, but I walked away with a much more dramatic & dreamy image than I had anticipated.
