Ellery Lake on Tioga Pass is one of the Most beautiful lakes accessible by car. I committed to staying the night up here after an inch of fresh snowfall the day before. With the Ice breaking up, I knew the combination the following morning could be special. I walked away with this amazing image of fire & ice.
