I photographed this Image in 2020 in The San Juan Mountains, Colorado. I spent a couple of weeks there and on this day, the weather was rather gray and rainy, so I wandered around looking for some more intimate scenes that would look better if the whole scene was wet. I came across this waterfall that had some aspen leaves around it that had dropped from above, and added the perfect splash of color to the scene.
