The Southern California Coast is undoubtfully home to some incredible scenery, but what has fascinated me most about the area over the years is how much desert landscape & plant life you can find right along the cliffsides. 

Years ago, I happened to stumble across this particular scene of Cactus, Yucca & fully bloomed Aloe right on the edge of the cliff in Laguna Beach. These particular combinations always strike my eye, reminding myself that even though it is a humid and modified climate, it is still a desert zone at the end of the day.
